The fourth article in our “Big Data & Issues & Opportunities” series (https://2bird.ly/2Up1uEI) examines the security and cyber-security requirements imposed by the General Data Protection Regulation, the Network and Information Security Directive and other EU legislations and security standards upon actors in the big data value chain. The article notably delves into the complexities of such requirements and the need for improved cooperation between the various stakeholders and non-regulatory actions.
